About Us

The Anatomy of Music is Tinoteca, Inc.'s first retail product for the general music lover. It is based on a course that has been given at Boston's Northeastern University for over a decade. The course, which was profiled in 1999 by the New York Times, is routinely overenrolled at Northeastern, and will be offered via the Web to other universities around the country. After years of enthusiastic responses to The Anatomy of Music at national and international conferences, Tinoteca is now offering the non-academic public an opportunity to experience this unique approach to listening with understanding.
